Ujków Stary Mine

“Ujków Stary” dolomite mine utilises a Triassic dolomite deposit documented in the Silesian Upland area, at the border with the Krakow-Częstochowa Upland. Mined rock material consists of diplopora and ore-bearing dolomites. The mine is located in the village of Bolesław, about 50 km away from the large urban centres of Krakow and Katowice. The holder of the dolomite mining concession is the BOLTECH Spółka z o.o. entrepreneur in Bukowno.
