Aggregates production plant

Zakład Kruszyw (Aggregate Production Plant), located on the premises of Zakłady Górniczo-Hutnicze "Bolesław" S.A. – Olkusz mine, was built by Boloil S.A. in 1995.

The Aggregate Plant’s production activities consist of processing dolomite stone obtained during the mining and processing of zinc and lead ores found in ore-bearing dolomites, which is carried out by Zakłady Górniczo-Hutnicze "Bolesław" S.A. The current annual production capacity of the Aggregate Production Plant is 1,000,000 ton of various fractions of crushed dolomite aggregate. Owing to the high quality of produced aggregates, used first and foremost for constructing roads and motorways, the company is one of the largest players in the industry. It was possible thanks to employing modern crushing and sorting machines and equipment in the production process, as well as obeying the technological regime and systematic quality control.

The Aggregate Production Plant’s geographic location is excellent, as it is located in Olkusz, directly by the national road 94, at the halfway point of the road between Katowice and Krakow.
